Kayla Holborn, PTA, Telemetry Monitoring Director at Momentum at South Bay, shares how her team used the Vios Monitoring Program to manage a 99-year-old post-acute cardiac patient with chest pain, hypertensive urgency, and atrial fibrillation. ​

Using the Vios Monitoring Program, the care team was able to identify:​

• Persistent tachycardia, with heart rate up to 150+ BPM​
• Drops in oxygen saturation​

These insights supported timely medication adjustments and clinical decision-making, allowing the team to manage the patient in place and avoid a hospital transfer.​
